What is the cost and process for returning client equipment from colocation?
Log-On Technologies will package client equipment and ship it to the client using a UPS or FEDEX pre-paid shipping label provided by the client. In addition, the client is charged a packing fee, cost of packing materials (box(s) and packing supplies) as well as a handling fee. To receive a formal quote, please visit https://service.logontek.com and open a ticket requesting that the equipment be shipped to you. Cost will depend on the size and quantity of the equipment being shipped back to the client.
What payment methods does Log-On Technologies accept?
We accept company checks and all major U.S. debit and credit cards from business customers.
Does Log-On Technologies support businesses with or without internal IT staff?
Log-On Technologies offers our services and solutions to businesses that either have no IT staff or that are fully staffed with internal IT personnel. We offer our expertise and experience to businesses that, for one reason or another, do not want to hire and ramp up in-house IT staff and would rather outsource that aspect of their business. For businesses that have internal IT personnel, we provide the same services and offer the same solutions. We can be your businesses outsourced IT department or, if you already have an IT department, we can fill in gaps where needed, provide relief for a busy IT department, supplement your staff with additional techs, or help fill in when your IT staff takes a well deserved vacation.

There are three ways to request service with Log-On Technologies. Submitting a request via the portal guarantees that multiple representatives are notified of your request which will yield the best response time. If you don’t have Internet or are unable to submit an online request through the portal you may call our main number at 832.615.8885 to request service. If you’re an existing client you may also contact your Account Manager or technician.
What areas does Log-On Technologies service?
Log-On Technologies is based in the Greater Houston Area and we service businesses throughout the Unites States and abroad.
What is the typical response time for standard service?
The typical response time for standard service ranges anywhere from 30 to 120 minutes. We normally respond within 30 minutes of being contacted. To achieve this level of response time, we encourage clients to submit requests via our online service request portal which notifies multiple staff members of your request for the quickest response time. You may submit your request by visiting https://service.logontek.com .
What platforms and operating systems do you support?
On servers and workstations – Windows, Linux, MAC, and Chrome OS. On mobile devices – iOS and Android. We support a wide variety of operating systems and firmware on various types of other devices like routers, switches, network attached storage units, etc.
What are your hours of operation?
Log-On Technologies is a 24/7 IT services company. Our standard business hours are 7am to 7pm M-F and we’re available after hours and weekends as needed.
Do you support both commercial and open source software?
Yes. At Log-On Technologies we support and implement both commercial and open source free software. When we recommend solutions, we include both commercial and open source freely available software so our clients understand that there are multiple solutions available.
Does your billable rate change for after hours work?
Currently, Log-On Technologies does not change the billable rate for after hours work. The billable rate is the same as the standard rate.
